I am excited to be reviving my Favorite Pins & Pin Do It Weekends series! If you aren’t familiar with Pinterest yet, let me explain a bit. Pinterest is like a digital/online pin or cork board where you can “pin” your favorite recipes, organization ideas, craft projects, favorite outfits, DIY projects, quotes and more to your own “boards”. You can create boards by topic or category. You can “re-pin” things others post on their boards that you like too. You can find so many great recipes, craft & DIY projects, fashion ideas, tutorials and quotes on Pinterest!
Now there has been a bit of controversy over Pinterest and copyright laws lately. I have read opinions and thoughts from one end of the spectrum to another. Blogging with Amy has a great article on this topic that I think everyone should read. I will also try to be more careful with what I pin & re-pin in the future. I will try to make sure the image links to the original content source and proper credit is given.
With all that said, let’s talk about what it means to “Pin Do It”. How do you “Pin Do It”? It’s simple! Just choose to DO one thing you saw on Pinterest this past week! It can be a craft or handmade gift, a DIY project, a new decorating or organizing idea or making a recipe you found on Pinterest or maybe creating a new outfit from items you already own based on a picture you saw on Pinterest.
I would love if you would comment on this post with what you Pin Did from this challenge. If you have a blog and want to share your link in the comments, please do! If you don’t have a blog, I would still love for you to post what you Pin Did.
PS, be sure to follow me on Pinterest! Post your Pinterest link in the comments & I will follow you back!
