A Little Bird Told Me Book by Brave Girl’s Club – Beautiful & Inspirational Gift! (Pay it Forward Giveaway!)

About a year and a half ago I stumbled upon a post on a blog that left such an impression on my own heart that I have not ever forgotten it. I can’t remember how I came across the blog or the post but I am so glad that I did.

Brave Girls Club

The post was on a blog/website called “Brave Girls Club” written by Melody Ross. I immediately liked the name of the blog of course as I also desire to help other women feel more confident and brave. This was my first introduction to the Brave Girls Club and I have been a fan and reader ever since. (You can read the amazing post “We must see past what it seems” that I am talking about at this link.)

I signed up for their daily emails and have enjoyed their daily truths in my inbox every day since then. You can tell that Melody and the other ladies behind Brave Girls Club truly have a passion to encourage and inspire other women.

Brave Girls Club is now a blooming online community for women to come to where they can feel safe, accepted, powerful, competent, connected, supported and empowered to go for their dreams. Brave Girls Club also offers online classes, camps and now even has a shop full of beautiful items from home decor to clothing and jewelry to art supplies, music, prints and more!

Melody’s first book, “A Little Bird Told Me- Volume 1″ has just been published as well. This book is beautiful beyond words. Not only is it filled with inspirational and encouraging truths and reminders, but the original artwork throughout the book makes it pretty enough to showcase on it’s own.

One of my favorite chapters in the book is about a topic that I struggle with- never feeling “enough”.  Here is a quote from the chapter: “One of the most painful traps we can ever fall into is the ENOUGH trap… This is the trap with an ugly cycle that tells us that no matter much we do, how hard we work, how much we have, how much we try… it is never enough.  If you’ve had a bad day when you’ve done all you can and you still feel defeated, please dear one, give yourself some grace. You are the only one who can decide that it is enough, that you have done enough, that you have enough, and especially that you ARE enough. These are truths that you must accept for yourself… No one else can do this for you… You are enough. You’ve done enough. You have enough. You are brave enough. You are absolutely loved enough too…”

In “A Little Bird Told Me- Volume 1″ you will be reminded that it is okay and important to take time for ourselves. You will be encouraged to forgive ourselves and to learn to trust our instincts. You will be inspired to persevere through the trials and to pick yourself up when you fall down. You will be reminded that you were created for a purpose and that you are worthwhile and deserving to live a life of joy and passion.

This book is the perfect gift to give to any teenage girl or adult woman who could use some extra encouragement or a reminder of how truly special she is.  You can purchase the book and view the other items in the Brave Girl’s Club shop at: http://shop.bravegirlsclub.com/ PS. They are having daily 50% off deals right now and lots of items are on sale!

I am delighted to have the chance to give away one of these beautiful books! However in Brave Girl’s fashion of inspiring and encouraging others, this is going to be a “Pay it Forward” giveaway.  Instead of entering to win it for yourself, I would like for you to enter to win it for a special female friend, sister, mother, daughter, niece, etc… in your life that could use some extra encouragement.

To show my thanks to each of you for your support, encouragement and being faithful readers of my blog, I am also going to personally give away a $10 gift certificate to the Brave Girls Club Shop to whoever wins the Pay it Forward giveaway. (So you will win a $10 gc and the book will go to the person you choose to pay it forward to). :) To enter the giveaway, please just go through the Rafflecopter below.

Please be sure to visit Brave Girls Club and sign up for their daily truths. You can also like them on Facebook and Follow them on Twitter.

This seems like a great resource book, Misty. I would like to give it to my friend, Genevive Angela, who works with troubled young people.
I would tell young people to look within themselves to find resources – God has planted within us all we need to live meaningful and full lives. We just need to dig deep within.

I would give this to my oldest daughter. I think she could really use some encouragement as she approaches those teen years.

Always smile –even when things are tough–make sure you speak or at least say hello to every one, and believe, in God he will get you through the toughest parts of life.

I would tell them that everyone is created with different skills to share with the world, we need to value those skills that make us different because those are gifts we were given to complete the puzzle.
