Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was pretty good though I am still trying to get over a head cold/sinus infection that does not want to leave me. I have a lot on my agenda this week so I need all the motivation I can get!
I read this quote the other day and it really struck me. ”If you don’t like something, change it. If you can’t change it, change your attitude. Don’t complain.” - Maya Angelou I am guilty of being a complainer. I whine, I whimper, I pout, I gripe when something doesn’t go my way or gets me off schedule. How I react is sometimes just not pretty at all. I waste time when I complain and just make it more difficult on myself. What I need is to adjust my attitude and my course of action.
Things are always going to happen that we don’t like, we don’t plan for and we don’t want (or know how) to deal with. I’m going to work harder to not let these things get me off course. I am going to work harder to not complain so much and just figure out how to re-adjust my sails and my attitude so I can still be positive, inspiring and successful in spite of whatever is thrown my way.
Now it’s time to share and find some motivation and inspiration for our week ahead!
