I have a confession to make. I have a terrible sweet tooth. I also have this habit of craving something sweet after I eat a meal and late at night. This would not be such a bad thing if I were not trying really hard to be healthier and lose weight. I just need something to give me a little fix, a little sweet taste to satisfy me and then I am fine.
One sweet treat that I enjoy is iced coffee. The closest Starbucks is almost 30 minutes away so it is not exactly quick and convenient for me to get an iced coffee. I am also working hard to save money so my budget cannot handle expensive coffee on a regular basis. Thankfully, International Delight now offers delicious iced coffee at the grocery stores and super markets. You can get a half gallon carton, which has eight servings for less than the price of just ONE Grande frappe′!
I have been drinking International Delight’s Iced Coffee at home now on a regular basis for a few months and love it. (I even made some yummy Chocolate Coffee Covered Spoons for National Coffee Day with it. You can see the recipe here.) When I saw that International Delight was coming out with a light version of their iced coffee, I was really excited to try it out!
Currently the International Delight Light Iced Coffee comes in Vanilla and Mocha. The Vanilla is my favorite. Their iced coffee is smooth and creamy. Add some crushed ice and a little whip cream on top and you will think you are in heaven (or at your favorite fancy coffee shop at least). 
I was surprised that I really could not tell the difference between the light and regular iced coffee. They tasted the same to me even though the light version has fewer calories and much less sugar.
I love that I can have a glass after a meal to help me curb that sweet tooth craving and not feel one bit guilty about it! I like to add a little of International Delight’s Caramel Machiatto creamer to the Light Iced Coffee. What? You put creamer in hot coffee, why not iced coffee? It really gives it that extra sweet taste just like one of the specialty iced frappucino’s from a coffee shop. The big difference though is that my favorite caramel frappe has 410 calories per serving, but each serving of International Delight’s Light Iced Coffee has less than 100 calories in it.

I don’t see any artificial sweetners listed in the ingredients but it does use skim milk instead of regular

I haven’t seen the light version where I shop yet, but I will definitely be keeping my eyes peeled for it! I got addicted to the vanilla flavor, but was hesitant to buy more because of the calories… now I can feed my addiction again

It seems like there is a coffee shop on every corner, but I prefer to have coffee at home. I keep a carton of International Delight in the fridge because it tastes great, and it is far more convenient than driving down the street just for some coffee.
